Lockdown One Series
During the first lockdown, I channeled my emotions into a series of paintings that explored the tension between restriction and hope. Being confined indoors, I found myself deeply connected to the feeling of isolation, but also drawn to the small, yet promising, light that filtered through windows. This light became a symbol of hope and renewal in my work, representing the outside world and the promise of better days ahead. Each piece captured the contrast between the walls that kept us in and the light that encouraged us to keep looking forward.
